Please note - the bumpy blue surface appearing on the home page is not from another planet, but is a NURBS surface reconstructed from a digital scan  ( 1" x 1" section )  of a deep water crab's shell,  just a fun example of digitizing. IGES surface file ( type 128 ) of this surface is available to download at the sample file page.
